Expected game script is the shape a game is likely to take. A team trailing by two scores in the fourth quarter throws far more than one protecting a lead, and that changes the volume behind every passing, rushing and receiving prop.
Script is the reason a strong matchup on paper can still miss: the snaps stop coming when the game turns.
